About Us

Stewart Ball, Owner of Dallas Bike School

Dallas Bike School is here to teach people how to ride a bicycle, simple as that. Our founder, Stewart Ball, has directed summer bike camps for kids for sixteen years. We have taught thousands of children and adults how to ride a bike. Our summer camps at the Hockaday School sold out completely in 2021.

We offer instruction in the basics of riding a bike, as well as more advanced instruction in bike handling and riding on Dallas' local bike trails. We also offer fun and fitness group rides.

We have small group classes as well as private instruction for one or more. Sessions run anywhere from thirty minutes to an hour, depending upon the student's age and the level of instruction. (Sometimes hot or cold weather will also affect the duration of the lesson.)
